ALBANY, N.Y. -- Friday's storm impacted a number of travelers, and among them, a pair of firefighters from Kentucky in the Capital Region on business.
It's been quite the experience for the two, they arrived Thursday and are only now able to leave.
‘Exciting, informative and unexpectedly delayed' is how Madisonville, Ky. firefighter Captains Kevin Cotton and Shane Rigney describe their business trip to Albany.
The pair were here to inspect a fire simulator developed by Bull-ex which manufactures training tools used by fire departments across the united states.
Friday's snowfall cancelled their flight, but didn't keep them inside. They used their time to visit local fire departments, including volunteer fire departments in Troy and Albany.
The pair also visited the fire department in Schenectady which was happy to extend their hospitality.
