Saratoga County Sheriff's Deputy arrested

BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. - The Ballston Spa Police Department says they have arrested a Saratoga County Sheriff's Deputy on a couple of charges.

On Thursday, 51-year-old Shawn Nolan, of Ballston Spa, was arrested for criminal mischief and intent to damage property.

Nolan has been a deputy with the Saratoga County Sheriff's Department for thirty years. He has been suspended without pay pending the outcome of the case against him.

He was processes and released with an appearance ticket.
