Troy mayor delivers state of the city address

TROY, N.Y. -- Mayor Lou Rosamilia updated Trojans on the state of their city Thursday, addressing a crowd before the city council meeting.

While he touted the opening of 40 businesses in Troy in the last year, along with developments in downtown housing -- he did acknowledge Takim Smith's recent death, and the city's crime rate.

The mayor went on to officially confirm Anthony Magnetto as police commissioner.
