Sheriff: Woman submits fake urine sample


GLENS FALLS, N.Y. - The Warren County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Glens Falls woman for allegedly submitting a fictitious urine sample to her probation officer.

Deborah Curran, 36, was arrested Monday after an investigation by the the Sheriff's Office and the Warren County Probation Department found she submitted the urine sample which was determined to be from another source.

Officers became suspicious of Curran's activity while submitting her sample and upon interviewing her, found that she allegedly secreted a device upon her person that had another person's urine within it that she was attempting to pass off as her own.

Curran was arrested for physically tampering with evidence, a felony, and remanded to the Warren County Correctional Facility without bail.
