COLONIE, N.Y. – Police are investigating a traffic accident involving a car and pedestrian at the intersection of Central Avenue and Lincoln Avenue Monday night.
According to Colonie police, a female was struck by a car at the intersection at around 7:30 p.m. She was taken to Albany Medical Center with unknown injuries. There is no word on her current condition.
At this time the driver has not been ticketed, but the accident is under investigation by the traffic division.
Central Avenue was partially blocked for about an hour.
