Vt. man arrested after curfew violation leads to discovery of drugs, stolen credit card
CLARENDON, Vt. – Vermont troopers have arrested a man after a conditions check turned up drugs and a stolen item.
On Friday, troopers out of the Rutland Barracks were conducting a conditions check on Jaron Wilk, due to restrictions imposed on him for a previous crime which stated that he must be at his residence located at 2216 East Clarendon Rd. between the hours of 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
When troopers arrived at the residence, Wilk had just pulled into the driveway and acknowledged that he was past his curfew.
In the process of placing Wilk under arrest he threw eight bags of heroin which he was holding in his hand. He was also in possession of a credit card that did not belong to him which he admitted to attempting to use early in the day.
Wilk was processed for the violations and taken to Marble Valley Correctional Center for lack of $30,000.00 bail.
