COLONIE, N.Y. - The Colonie Police Department is investigating an armed robbery they say occurred early Thursday at the Best Western Hotel on Wolf Road.
Police say around 2:10 a.m., two suspects entered the Best Western Hotel lobby. One suspect displayed a grey colored semi-automatic
handgun while going behind the desk, as the second stood by the front door
during the robbery.
The desk clerk was told to open the cash drawer
and handed over about $575 to the suspects before they fled.
The suspects are described as:
- Black male, mid 20's, 5'9", 150 pounds, wearing a grey
hooded sweatshirt, faded blue jeans, and gloves. He was armed with the handgun and confronted
the desk clerk.
- White male, mid 20's, 6', 170 pounds, dirty blond
hair, brush cut, wearing a black jacket, gloves and may have had a red and
black checkered scarf underneath the jacket.
He stayed by the front door.
