GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. - The Gloversville Police Department has arrested an EMT for allegedly forcibly touching female patients in a sexual manner in the back of an ambulance.
Police say 44-year-old Donald Frye was arrested Wednesday for one count of Forcible Touching, after an investigation of a reported sex offense.
Police say the female victim reported while being transported to Nathan Littauer Hospital an EMT - determined to be Frye - had touched her breasts and other intimate areas for no reason. She had no complaints of pain or injury to these areas.
In March 2011, the Gloversville Police Department received a complaint of a woman being inappropriately touched in a sexual manner in the back of an ambulance, as well.
Based on the recent report, the 2011 case was reopened and Frye was charged with one count of Forcible Touching related to that case, as well.
During the course of this investigation it was learned there had been another reported incident of this nature involving Frye in February 2012 to the Sherriff's Office as it happened outside the City of Gloversville.
The Gloversville Police are looking for any further information related to these incidents or if anyone has had any similar incidents contact the Gloversville Detective Division at 518-773-4502.
