Village of Catskill declares snow emergency

CATSKILL, N.Y. -- The conditions of the roads forced the Village of Catskill to declare a snow emergency and with it a number of parking restrictions go into effect Monday.

Starting at 8 p.m., all drivers must park on the odd side of the street, and by eight a.m. Tuesday, they'll need to move their cars to the even side for the next twelve hours.

Drivers will need to keep alternating sides every twelve hours.

Also starting at eight p.m. Monday, parking will not be allowed on Main Street, between Greene Street and Summit Avenue until further notice.
