Schenectady County man accused of sexually abusing 12-year-old

GLENVILLE, N.Y. - The Glenville Police Department has arrested a 20-year-old Rotterdam Junction man after an investigation into the alleged sexual abuse of a 12-year-old girl.

Glenville Police say Alexander Grandstaff, of Sharon Drive, has been charged with Criminal Sex Act, Forcible Touching, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Investigators found Grandstaff abused the young female in late December 2012 at her residence in Glenville.

He has been remanded to the Schenectady County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond.
