Gravestones defaced in Warrensburg Cemetery

WARRENSBURG, N.Y. - Five gravestones were defaced with graffiti in the Warrensburg Cemetery, the Warren County Sheriff's Office tells NEWS10.

The gravestones were spray-painted with florescent green, black and purple phrases including 'hate' and 'ICP.' The vandalism was first reported by a lady visiting one of her relative's graves on Tuesday.

The gravestones are privately owned, so the Warren County Sheriff's Office is working to locate the relatives of the defaced graves, in order to properly go about removing the graffiti.
