
SARATOGA, N.Y. - State Police say a 20-year employee of Stewart's Shop has been accused of using her corporate credit card for items which were not business related.
Police say 44-year-old Lisa Congdon, of Mechanicville, has been arrested following a complaint filed by security personnel from Stewart's Shops Corporation.
It is alleged that Congdon, a nearly 20-year employee of Stewart's and District Manager for the greater Kingston area, charged over $3,500 in 25 separate transactions on her business credit card from February 2011 until the beginning of 2013.
She has been charged with one count of Grand Larceny 3rd-degree and three counts of Falsifying Business Records 1st-degree, both felonies, and three counts of Forgery 3rd-degree, a misdemeanor.
