STEPHENTOWN, N.Y. - A two-car accident on Route 22 in the town of Stephentown has resulted in one death and multiple serious injuries.
Police say 45-year-old Kevin Jensen of Grottoes, Virginia was driving a 2000 Plymouth Voyager north on Route 22 in Stephentown Sunday afternoon when he crossed the center line and collided with a gray 2011 Lexus SUV head on.
Jensen was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and two passengers of the Lexus - 76-year-old Daniel Riesel, 68-year-old Sheila Riesel, and 32-year-old Allison Riesel, all from New York City - were transported to Berkshire Medical Center and were subsequently airlifted to Massachusetts General Hospital.
