
GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. -– More than 800 faculty and staff members of the Gloversville, Johnstown, and Wheelerville school districts, as well as various local fire and police personnel, will be participating in a safety training conducted by the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services on Friday at the Gloversville Middle School between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
The training is being offered to enhance safety awareness among school personnel. Faculty and staff will be exposed to possible scenarios and learn what they might expect if an intruder entered a school building.
