Man charged with possessing stolen guns after 2-year investigation

COBLESKILL, N.Y. - State Police in Cobleskill have arrested a Schoharie County resident for allegedly possessing several guns from a local residence.

Police say 21-year-old Luke Aulita, of Wright, has been charged with felony Criminal Possession of Stolen Property after a two-year investigation into the burglary of a local residence which resulted in the theft of several guns.

Aulita voluntarily returned to New York while stationed in the U.S. Army in Washington State after his arrest.

He has been remanded to the Schoharie County Jail on $10,000 cash bail.
