Man found deceased on Shen campus

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. - New York State Police say a man was found dead in an apparent suicide on the Shenendehowa campus early Friday morning.

Police say the 42-year-old man had no affiliation with the school district, but resides nearby the campus.

Police responded to the school campus around 1 a.m. after receiving a call from a relative of the man. Police attempted life-saving measures but were unsuccessful and a Saratoga County Coroner pronounced the man dead at the scene. He was removed and transported to Saratoga Hospital for an autopsy.

Weapons were not involved in the incident and at this time there are no indications of foul play, according to police.

State Police are continuing their investigation.
