ALBANY, N.Y. - One day after his state of the state, Governor Andrew Cuomo is already working on one of his objectives.
Thursday he met with women's groups -- extending full equality to women was one of the goals he laid out for the New Year.
The governor proposed a women's equality act in his speech, to address issues like reproductive rights, pay equity, sexual harassment, and stronger domestic violence and protective order laws.
Some women's advocates support his goal, saying New York has to stand for being a fair and equal state.
