ALBANY, N.Y. – An Albany woman was arrested on Wednesday, after she was observed driving the wrong way down State Route 9-W.
State Police stopped Dayaree D. Pettiway, 31, of Albany, who had been driving northbound in the southbound lane of State Route 9-W, at 10:10 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
Pettiway was subsequently found to be in possession of approximately 1.5 pounds of cocaine, as well as a small amount of marijuana.
Pettiway was arraigned before City of Albany Court Judge Thomas Keefe and remanded to the Albany County Correctional Facility with no bail.
