Johnstown Police accuse man of sex with young teen

JOHNSTOWN, N.Y. - A 26-year-old Speculator man has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a young teen female.

The Johnstown Police Department arrested Edward Desrochers after a two-week investigation revealed while at Knox Field in the City of Johnstown he enaged in sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old female who was known to him since the summer of 2012.

Johnstown Police located Desrochers with the help of Hamilton County law enforcement. He has been charged with Rape 2nd-degree, a felony, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a misdemeanor, and remanded to the Fulton County Jail.
