ALBANY, N.Y. - The Albany Police Department says they are searching for two males apparently responsible for a robbery at a Stewart's last month, and possibly a number of other commercial robberies in surrounding areas.
Police began investigating the armed robbery after they were called to the Stewart's at 542 Central Avenue around 10:30 p.m. on December 28th.
Police say the suspects walked into the store and demanded money from the register with what appeared to be a rifle or shotgun. The clerk complied and the suspects fled the store with an undisclosed amount of
cash.
The suspects are described as follows:
1) Black male, 6'2", 200 lbs, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans,
with a black scarf covering his face.
2)
Black male, 6'0", 170 lbs, with his face covered
The pair may also be responsible for other commercial
robberies in the City of Albany, Town of Colonie, and the Village of
Menands, police say.
