CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. - The Town of Clifton Park is offering free, curbside Christmas tree pick-up for one week beginning on Monday.
County Waste will pick up un-bagged, non-artificial Christmas trees at the curb between Monday, January 7th and Friday, January 11th.
Residents are asked to leave their trees along the edges of their properties, on the side of the driveway opposite the trash can.
Trees must not harbor any lights or decorations, as they will be mulched.
County Waste can be reached at 877-7007 if questions arise.
Non-artificial, undecorated trees can also be taken to the town's Transfer Station on Vischer Ferry Road for disposal.
No permit is required and there is no fee.
