SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – A 23-year-old man was arrested in Saratoga Springs after officers say they discovered him trying to hide marijuana during a traffic stop.
Giuliano Isopo, 23, of Phillips Street in Ballston Lake, was stopped by police on Sunday at 12:50 a.m., when the officer noticed a strong smell of marijuana inside the vehicle.
Police say Isopo denied having marijuana in the vehicle and was placed in the police car so officers could interview other occupants inside Isopo's car.
Officers say they noticed him moving and acting strange inside the police vehicle as they were interviewing the other occupants, so they went back to check on Isopo and found him allegedly trying to stash marijuana and a marijuana pipe in the seat.
Isopo was placed under arrest and transported to the police department for processing.
