Posted: Updated:

CATSKILL, N.Y. – Student volunteers and members of the community will come together at a local church to sort through letters of love and hope for Newtown, Conn.

The CrossPointe Wesleyan Church in Catskill has collected over 6,000 cards and letters in the past two and a half weeks, expressing support for the families of the Sandy Hook victims.

At 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 6, the Catskill Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Kate Farrell, student volunteers, and community members will sort, label with family names, and repack the thousands of cards and letters that have been sent to the church.
