ALBANY, N.Y. – Students and advisors from The College of Saint Rose head to Washington to help thousands of the city's homeless, working poor and homebound.
On Saturday, 18 students and 5 advisors will help prepare and serve more than 1,000 meals daily and volunteer in programs that aid Washington's homeless, impoverished, or people living with HIV/AIDS or other life-challenging illnesses.
The students depart Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from The College of Saint Rose Hubbard interfaith Sanctuary, at 959 Madison Ave.
