Healthcare consulting firm AdvisorsMD hires former pharmaceutical rep to manage sales division for MDreferralPRO software application.

AdvisorsMD Healthcare Consulting firm announced today that Ashley Heblon Lee has been hired as Business Development Manager. Lee will manage sales for MDreferralPRO, a web-based software application for healthcare providers who are looking to generate new patient referrals. MDreferralPRO is designed to simplify the process of managing physician relationships, while increasing revenue generated by newly identified referral sources.

"We hired Ashley because she understands healthcare technology and it's role in serving patients and building profitability in a practice," said AdvisorsMD Principal Ashleigh McKenzie.

Lee began her career in pharmaceutical sales, representing companies such as Altana Pharma and Alcon. Her professional experience crosses over several healthcare industries such as women’s health, pediatrics, cardiology, and eye care. Lee is the recipient of two President’s Club awards and has served as a pharmaceutical trainer to numerous sales representatives.

Prior to joining AdvisorsMD, Lee worked for Codex Techworks, an information technology company that focuses solely on eye-care professionals. In this role she assisted healthcare practices with electronic medical record conversion and other facets of practice management.

A native of Meridian, Mississippi, Lee holds a B.A. in Communication from Mississippi State University. She resides in Birmingham.
