Local push to stop gun violence in Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. - Albany SNUG-ceasefire held a response to a recent shooting on New Year's Day in the city.

About 20 people showed up Thursday night at the corner of Sherman and Henry Johnson Boulevard promising to work hard to keep the streets safer in Albany.

SNUG is a non-profit organization that says by working together Albany will be a much safer place.
