SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.---Between 15,000 and 20,000 people were expected to participate in the 17th annual First Night celebrations in Saratoga Springs.
For $15 admission, button holders have access to 82 bands and dozens of activities for families and children.
The event attracts people from all over the Capital Region and state, many saying it's unique in the fact that the entertainment spans such a wide variety of tastes.
The celebration began at 5:00 p.m. and went until midnight, finishing with fireworks near Congress Park.
