WATERFORD, N.Y. – Police arrested a 26-year-old woman Sunday on a slew of charges after responding to a vehicle in a snow bank call.
At 4:50 a.m., a Waterford Police Sergeant responded to Mallard Landing North in the Town of Waterford for a vehicle into a snow bank. Lisa M. Warenda, of 7 Nutmeg Court in Clifton Park was arrested after an investigation revealed her Blood Alcohol Content to be 0.19 percent - more than twice the legal limit.
Warenda was charged with the following:
- Speed not reasonable and prudent for conditions
- Failed to Keep Right
- Refusal to take a Breath test
- Drinking Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle on a Highway
- Driving While Intoxicated – previous conviction in 10 years - Class "E" Felony
- Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated – prior conviction in 10 years – Class "E" Felony
She will appear in Waterford Town Court on Jan. 17, 2013 at 6 p.m.
