Bennington Co. partners with local taxi’s for NYE safe ride program

BENNINGTON COUNTY, N.Y. – The Bennington Sheriff's Office will partner with Bennington Taxi on New Year's Eve to ensure everyone has a safe ride home.

The program will offer safe rides free rides home from an establishment between 10 p.m. New Year's Eve and 2 a.m. New Year's Day.

Sheriff's deputies and volunteers will also be driving vans to help the taxi service get everyone home safe.

Anyone needing a ride home should contact Bennington Taxi at #802-442-9052.

If you would like to make a donation to the Bennington County Safe ride program, contact the Sheriff's Office at #802-442-4900.
