BERLIN, Vt. - A three generational family farmhouse and barn have gone up in flames in Vermont.
Officials say a skid steer loader, a piece of farm equipment, started the blaze that left the home and barn a pile of charred rubble.
The farm belongs to the Townes and has been in the family for 150-years.
Fire investigators say flames spread quickly through the dry wood structures - engulfing the buildings within minutes.
No family members or animals were injured.
