SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - Firefighters battle the cold, snow and flames in Schenectady.
The fire broke out around 5:30 p.m. Thursday at an abandoned building at 245 State Street.
Early reports indicated a person was still in the building -- but searches came up empty.
Crews spent a few hours on the scene working to put out hotspots.
No one was hurt, and the cause is still under investigation.
