WHITEHALL, N.Y. - Officers
in Whitehall say it took a couple of different police agencies to help them
catch a woman who drove away from a traffic stop.
According to village police,
they pulled over 44-year-old Susen Gonyea of Glens Falls last week for speeding
along Route 4.
The report states while an
officer was writing her ticket, Goneya drove away - without getting her ticket or
credentials back from police.
When police say she would
not pull back over for them, help from the sheriff's office was called in.
Gonyea eventually stopped in Fort Ann and was
taken into custody by Whitehall Police and Sheriff's Office
personnel. She is charged with Reckless Endangerment
in the 2nd Degree and Failure to Comply with a Lawful Order of Police.
