Police: Woman has child steal items from Price Chopper

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - A woman was arrested Friday night for having a child shop-lift from a Price Chopper for her, according to police.

Police say Taija J. Nelson, 20, of Saratoga, had a 10-year-old child steal various items for her from the Price Chopper on Ballston Avenue.

The incident happened at around 7:30 p.m. on Friday, and Nelson was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
