SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - Terell Bethea appeared in Schenectady County Court on Friday and entered a not guilty plea toward the murder, reckless endangerment and multiple weapon charges associated with the October killing of Charles Bowman.
28-year-old Terell Bethea, of Schenectady, has been charged with second-degree murder for the death of Charles Bowman. Bowman was shot multiple times in the upper body around 2:30 p.m. on October 5th, near 425 Schenectady Street, police say.
Neighbors say that Bowman was gunned down by Bethea, who police say has a prior criminal history, after an argument escalated between the two men.
Bethea is next scheduled to return to Schenectady County Court on March 4th.
