BROADALBIN, N.Y. - The Superintendent of Broadalbin-Perth Central School Distirct says a non-specific bomb threat made against the high school was determined unfounded, however uniformed police officers will be at the high school as a precautionary measure for the rest of the week.
Law enforcement officers completed their investigation and determined there is no immediate threat to any school buildings, after a non-specific bomb threat was made over the past 24 hours.
The Superintendent wants to assure parents all steps were taken to investigate this threat and bring the individuals making the threats to justice if warranted, especially in the wake of last week's horrific events at Sandy Hook.
