CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. - A Shenendehowa High School senior has earned a perfect score on his Advanced Placement Computer Science A Exam from spring 2012.
Shenendehowa High School Principal Donald Flynt announced 17-year-old Eric Wu not only received the top score of 5, ranking among 15.5% of students to fall within this top score category in 2012, but in doing so, was one of only 18 students in the world to earn every point possible on the exam.
Wu answered every multiple-choice question correctly and earned full points on each of the essays in the free-response section of the exam, earning 80 out of 80.
In total, 26,103 students took the AP Computer Science A Exam in 2012.
