GREEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Green Island police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspicious woman who was taking pictures of a home on John Street.
Police say the resident of the John Street home, arrived home around 2:45 p.m. to find a suspicious female on the porch taking photos of the residence. The resident approached the woman and asked her what she was doing, to which she responded she was taking pictures for the bank and that she left a flier on the door to explain what was going on. She left the area in a light green 4-door vehicle-unknown make or model, possibly a station wagon looking vehicle, maybe a 2000's model.
