ALBANY, N.Y. – The Capital Region can spend the day cheering for scantily-clad Santa's, shopping for unique gifts and sampling tasty treats at the 6th Annual Winter WonderLARK on Saturday.
"The Santa Speedo Sprint and Winter WonderLARK are a highlight of the Lark Street Holiday season. We are looking forward to a day of fun for all ages and seeing lots of families and friends shopping and supporting our many eclectic shops and restaurants. It's a great way to keep it local," explained Mark Brogna, owner of Capital Wine and member of the Lark Street BID.
This year's Winter WonderLARK includes:
- The 6th Annual Santa Speedo Sprint - starts at 2 p.m.
- Outdoor winter market – 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Gingerbread funshop- starts at 12 p.m.
- Window decorating contest and voting
- Lark Street scavenger hunt
- Chefs consortium – 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- The Food Pantries for the Capital District, Inc. collection
- Holiday raffle
Hosted by the Lark Street Business Improvement District, the event takes place from noon until 5 p.m. on Lark Street between Madison Avenue and Washington Avenue.
