EAST GREENBUSH, N.Y. – Students at Rensselaer's Red Mill Elementary in East Greenbush received tips on how to avoid problems with strangers Friday.
A representative from Northeast Health taught the children, from kindergarten through fifth grade, about how to stay safe when dealing with strangers.
The program is part of a grassroots effort in the Rensselaer-area to give important safety tips to its youngest students.
