Search warrant recovers drugs, cash, weapons from Troy home
TROY, N.Y. - A search warrant executed by Troy Police Thursday morning secured the recovery of approximately 2 ounces of heroin, $8,500 in cash, a pistol grip shotgun and a small caliber handgun.
The Troy Police Special Investigations Unit, along with New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team executed the search warrant at 404 Ninth Street, 2nd floor, in Troy.
29-year-old Peter Rodriguez, of 404 Ninth Street, Troy, has been charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd-degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th-degree and two counts Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd-degree.
The warrant was obtained as a result of an investigation by Troy Police into the sale of drugs from the location.
