HYDE PARK, N.Y. - New York State Police say they have made an arrest in the Thanksgiving Day woman whose body was found at her Hyde Park home.
State police say Justin Curran was arrested in Tampa, Florida on Tuesday night in connection to the homicide of Laurie Ferguson with the help of local police and U.S. Marshals.
Curran will be returned to New York after being charged with second-degree murder.
Police say the 67-year-old Ferguson was found stabbed to death inside her mobile home in the town of Hyde Park in Dutchess County on Nov. 22.
Ferguson's car was found the next day at the nearby Staatsburg Reservoir.
Police say Curran lived in the same mobile home park Ferguson's body was discovered. Police have not released a motive for the killing.
