GLENS FALLS, N.Y. - A Glens Falls man charged with Manslaughter in connection to the death of his 15-month-old son had a new bail set on Wednesday.
The judge has issued a $100,000 cash or $300,000 bond for 28-year-old Gary Waite during his bail hearing Wednesday in Warren County Court.
Police allege that during a weekend visit in February, Waite tossed Jesse onto the couch with such force that when boy bounced off, his skull was severely fractured.
In October, the charge of Murder was dismissed against Waite, over lack of evidence of depraved indifference. Waite still faces Manslaughter charges for which he's pleaded not guilty.
Jesse's mother, Lisa, who has never spoken publicly about what happened to her son, talked to NEWS10 exclusively about seeing her son in the hospital bed, the doctors telling Lisa that her little boy was essentially brain dead and that it would not be long before his organs would begin to shut down.
On Lisa's Christmas tree there is an angel with the name Jesse on it. Jesse can't be with his family this holiday, and that is why his mother says she will do her best to make sure Waite doesn't get to spend Christmas with his family either.
