Half-mile stretch of Fort Ann closed for two weeks

Posted: Updated:

FORT ANN, N.Y. – Starting Friday a half-mile stretch of Route 4, within the Town of Fort Ann will be closed for the next two weeks as DOT crews move more debris from the site of a massive rock slide last month to prevent it from happening again.

The section closed is between Kelsey Pond Lane and Route 22 in the Hamlet of Comstock.

While the stretch closed is small, the closure will create a 20-mile detour, something drivers should keep in mind when traveling that way.
