Gloversville Police ask for help locating an aggressive burglar

GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. - The Gloversville Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a burglar that broke into a Gloversville residence early Saturday morning.

A female resident of the Woodside Avenue home confronted the male intruder in the hallway of her home at around 6:45 a.m., after she was awoken by him.

The intruder pushed her and fled from the house in an unknown direction.

The male is being described as white, approximately 5' 8'' - 5' 10'', thin in build, wearing a grey hoodie, khaki colored shorts, white sneakers and possibly glasses.

If anyone has information, they are asked to call the Gloversville Police Department at 773-4505, 773-4506 or 736-2100.
