ALBANY, N.Y. - Friday night marks the opening of the 16th annual Price Chopper Capital Holiday Lights in Washington Park.
The holiday light show will now be open nightly through January 4th from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays.
This year's theme is "A Sweet 16 Celebration" featuring about two miles of a drive-through holiday light spectacular with more than 125 displays and scenes.
Cars may drive through beginning at the entrance of the park at New Scotland and Madison Avenues. Cost is $15 per car; $25 per limousine or 15-passenger van; $75 per bus. All proceeds from Price Chopper Capital Holiday Lights benefit the programs of
the Albany Police Athletic League.
