ALBANY, N.Y. - On Friday, the Empire State Plaza's ice-skating rink will officially reopen for the winter.

The New York State Holiday tree-lighting and fireworks festival will be hosted on Sunday, December 2nd between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. in the Empire State Plaza.

It is free to skate.

Skate rentals cost $3 dollars for children under 12 years old and $4 dollars for adults.

Skate rentals will be available whenever the rink is open.

A full-service snack bar will be open on Friday nights, weekends and school holidays.
