ALBANY, N.Y. - Albany police are investigating after a man was hit by a car on the corner of Erie Street and Broadway Wednesday morning.
The 57-year-old victim is currently at Albany Medical Center in critical condition with severe injuries after being struck by a pick-up truck traveling down Broadway while he was crossing Erie Street around 7 a.m.
Accident reconstruction investigators spent several hours Wednesday after the accident trying to determine what happened.
The victim's name has not been released at this time, though he is a resident of Albany.
As of now the driver has not been charged or ticketed.
The investigation is ongoing.
