SCHENECTADY, N.Y – Police say a 14-year-old boy required surgery for head injuries after being attacked at an intersection in Schenectady Sunday.
According to Schenectady Police Department Spokesperson Sgt. Matt Dearing, a call came into police around 9:45 a.m. Sunday regarding the boy being attacked at the intersection of Congress and Sixth Avenue.
Investigators report that more than one attacker was involved.
The victim is currently at Albany Medical Center. There is no word on his current condition.
No arrests have been made at this time.
