ALBANY, N.Y. - Thanksgiving
is one of the busiest travel days of the year, and just in time, price monitors
say it's costing less to fill your tank.
The latest Lundberg survey
reports that nationwide the average cost per gallon has dropped more than seven
cents to $3.47.
While prices around the
Capital Region are still well above the average, we are seeing some small
drops.
According to AAA, averages
fell a penny within the past week in both the Albany and Bennington areas,
while drivers in and around Pittsfield saw gas drop about three cents since last
week.
