Official lighting of Albany's Holiday Light Show

ALBANY, N.Y. - The City of Albany will kick off this year's Price Chopper Capital Holiday Lights with the official lighting in Washington Park Monday night.

This year marks the 16th anniversary of the drive-through holiday light show in Washington Park. Albany Mayor Jerry Jennings and the Albany Police Athletic League will conduct the official lighting at the Washington Park Lake House at 5 p.m. Monday.

The 2012 theme for the light show is "A Sweet 16 Celebration." The lights officially open to the public to drive through starting on Friday, Nov. 23rd at 6 p.m.
